Architectural Design Internship Summer 2023
After studying architecture abroad for a semester, I had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with freelance architect Taniana Paredes, where I gained invaluable hands-on experience in the field. My main role involved creating visually aesthetic renderings from the 3D models she crafted in Revit, utilizing Lumion software. Under Taniana's guidance, I took on the charge of the rendering process, which deepened my understanding of how one can effectively bring a project to life for clients. This experience highlighted the significance of collaboration and effective communication in achieving successful design outcomes.

Below, I’ve included a slideshow of the renderings I produced over the summer, which focused on materiality—incorporating wood, stone, concrete, and steel. Under Tatiana's direction, the goal was to add rich textures to make the renderings as realistic as possible. The addition of shadows, objects, and people further enhanced the visual depth, making the drawings more compelling and presentation-ready.
